At their meeting on 20 December, the elected members of the Maubeuge Val de Sambre agglomeration decided to first commission a study on the possible function modification of Maubeuge airport. Until this study is completed, the airport can remain open. The result of this study is expected by September 2024, when the future of the airport will be voted on again.
